A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 2:30 p.m., in Grace Presbyterian Church, 153 Grove St., Montclair, followed by a reception at the church. A graveside service will be held in Mt. Hebron Cemetery on Monday, Oct. 27, at 11:30 a.m.

Mrs. Weissbach was born in West Orange, was a 1946 graduate of West Orange High School, and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Montclair State University. For many years, she served as an elementary school teacher in West Orange, and she was a longtime member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Montclair.

She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Albert Weissbach. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Fred and Gabrielle Weissbach, Carol and Jim Sargent, and Jeff Weissbach; her sister, Gunvor Tyler; and five grandchildren, Emily and Joshua Weissbach, Cassandra and Amanda Sargent, and Jasper Weissbach.
