She was raised in Montclair and moved to Bloomfield in 1969. She was a homemaker.

She was predeceased in 1986 by her husband, John. She is survived by her children, John Maffucci, Patricia Gardner, Joseph Maffucci, Steven Maffucci, Gary Maffucci, Frances Zwicky and Michelle Sarno; a sister, Josephine Gesualdo; 17 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Jillian, Billy, Lauren, Matthew, Brianna, Gianna, Gabriella, Nicole, Julianna, Cody, Christopher, Sarah, John, Marco and Sammy; and a great-grandson, Justin.

A funeral Mass was held on Oct. 15 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Montclair, followed by interment in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
