He was a lifelong Montclair resident and worked for the Montclair Parks Department for the past 36 years.

Mr. Ferraro was predeceased by his father, Fred Ferraro. He is survived by his mother, Barbara (née Dodd); his sisters, June Howard, and Lois Ferraro; and his brothers, Dan, Charles, and James Ferraro. 

A funeral service was held on Oct. 1, in Caggiano Memorial, Montclair, followed by interment in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
