A funeral Mass will be held Friday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m., in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 94 Pine St., Montclair. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington. Visiting is today, Thursday, Oct. 2, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair.

He was born and raised in Montclair, and moved to Caldwell 46 years ago. He was a machinist at Walter Kidde in Belleville for 45 years.

Mr. Petronaci was predeceased in 2008 by his wife, Grace Petronaci; his son, Samuel Petronaci; and his brother, Sylvester Petronaci. He is  survived by his children, Patricia Chase and her husband Paul, Paul Petronaci, Peter Petronaci and his wife Beatriz; a daughter-in-law, Jill Petronaci; his sisters, Mary Perrella and Madeleine Arnold; his  grandchildren, Alison, Lindsey and  Andrew Chase, Danielle, Alexa, Peter and Jessica Petronaci; and a great-grandchild of Landon Chase Petronaci.
