Mr. Lungo was born and raised in Montclair, and moved to Newark many years ago. He worked for the Newark Sanitation Department for the past 37 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Mary Lungo. He is survived by his sisters, Anette Conner, and Linda Cordine; a cousin, Michael Lungo; and many dear nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services were private.
