Community meeting to be held on Sept. 30
Fourth Ward Township Councilwoman Dr. Renee Baskerville will host a community meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the second floor training room of the Montclair Fire Headquarters, 1 Pine St.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform Montclair residents about why they should vote in the presidential election on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Proposed upgrades to Glenfield Park will also be discussed at the meeting.
Speakers include Lawrence Hamm, chairperson for the People’s Organization for Progress activist group and a Montclair resident, and Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr.
The meeting is open to all Montclair residents.
